Publishers

Gemini will be added to the Yext Publisher Network on June 25, 2025. This is a syndicate of Google Business Profile (GBP), meaning Yext will send entity data directly to Google, and they will determine the information that is displayed on Gemini. If you are currently sending data to Google, you'll now be sending your data to Gemini as well!

We are updating the "Apple Business ID” field to “Apple Brand ID” in the Knowledge Graph for all entities. This naming update aligns with changes to Apple terminology. No action is required.

Eventseeker has been removed from the Yext Publisher Network. We will no longer be syncing data to this publisher.

Reviews & User-Generated Content

You can now respond to reviews in bulk using freeform text and assets, enabling brands to address outstanding review responses efficiently at scale.

When responding with review response assets, you can select up to 25 pre-created assets, and the system will randomly assign an asset to each review. This varies your responses for a more natural feel to customer comments, just like Automatic Review Response does for new incoming reviews.

You can respond to a maximum of 100 reviews at a time.

For more information, see the Review Response and Advanced Review Response modules.

We've added a new LAST_STATUS_UPDATED field to the Review Invitation object. This field reflects the most recent time an invitation's status changed—specifically when it was sent, opened, clicked, or reviewed.

Previously, in order to identify changes, customers had to paginate through all invitations, even those that hadn't changed, resulting in inefficient sync operations and unnecessary data processing.

With this update, customers can now use the LAST_STATUS_UPDATED field with the sortBy query parameter to retrieve the most recently updated invitations first. This allows for faster, more efficient syncing and eliminates the need to repeatedly pull unchanged invitations.

Social

Users can now use AI to write direct messages by clicking the Use AI to generate text button when responding to a Direct Message.

When generating content for a direct message, users can input instructions on how the response should be structured.

This feature is available as part of Yext Social.

Pages

We're excited to announce powerful enhancements to Pages—built specifically to let marketers spin up thousands of local pages in days instead of quarters without requiring developer support. Marketers can quickly get started with templates optimized for traditional and AI search, easily make changes in minutes with a visual editor, and instantly create locators and directory pages that seamlessly map content from your Knowledge Graph.

This new experience also includes the ability to:

  • Effortlessly customize global styling for your entire site, including brand colors and font selection.
  • Visually adjust our template layout to create pages fit for your business
  • Quickly add a locator to your site—no need to configure a separate Search experience or work with developers
  • Build robust directories to showcase your brand's full range of locations. Directories not only enhance site structure and user navigation but also significantly boost your SEO by helping you rank for broad, high-intent local searches (e.g., "dentists in Houston").

Important Note for Existing Pages Users:

For current Pages customers interested in accessing these new capabilities in addition to the current experience, talk to your account team to learn more about how to rebuild your pages on this new experience.

For step by step instructions on setting up your Pages site, see the Get Started with Pages for Marketers guide. For an overview of all Pages types and the relevant resources, see our Pages Documentation landing page.

We're excited to introduce powerful new Domains API and UI features designed to simplify and accelerate the process of managing domains for your Pages sites. This new system provides a centralized location to view all the domains associated with your account and offers a guided experience for connecting them to your Yext Pages.

The underlying Domains API allows for programmatic control over domain resources, guiding you through setting up correct DNS configurations and generating SSL certificates. It supports managing Domains themselves and Domain Associations, which link a domain to resources like a Pages site.

The new Domains features allow you to:

  • View all your domains in a centralized table, including their current status (e.g., Connected, Verifying, Incomplete) and the resource they are associated with (e.g., a Site name).
  • Add new domains to your account through a guided flow.
  • Get guided steps and instructions on how to properly configure your DNS records (including CNAME and TXT records) with your domain provider. These records are necessary for verification of ownership and mapping your domain name to the correct address.
  • Verify ownership of your domain as part of the setup process.
  • Attach domains to your Pages sites, selecting which site the domain should serve content for. You can set a primary domain for a site or add additional domains as aliases that serve the same content.
  • Manage the relationship between your domains and Pages sites programmatically using the Domains API. The API supports creating, listing, and getting details for domains and domain associations.

Platform

Shared Authentication Between Yext and Hearsay Platforms

Logging into either Yext or Hearsay will automatically sign you into both platforms, so you won’t need to log in again when switching between sites during the same session.

This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, please contact your account team

We have added features in Test Search that make it easier to simulate user behavior and debug search queries. You can now configure additional settings to better align test searches with how your users interact, including:

  • Toggling between free-form search and filter search. Test Search now supports filter search, a key feature for locators built on static filters. Previously limited to free-form queries, you can now toggle between the two types of search to better simulate the user experience.
  • Setting a location to search from. You can now change your Test Search location to simulate location-based queries (e.g., "locations near me"), simplifying debugging for administrators not in the brand's primary service area.
  • Passing a context object. You can now pass a context object to simulate targeted search results and debug query rules. This client-side context labels users with specific attributes, allowing you to use query rules to adjust results accordingly.

To configure these settings, navigate to the Test Search screen of a Search experience and click the settings icon. Note that this functionality is only available in the dedicated Test Search screen.

For more information, see the Test Search unit.
